Apple 'Home' New Hardware? PVR etc.

Hi All,

A while back I read about Apple supposedly developing a new piece of kit that is going to rule our front rooms. It would serve all our media up to our home entertainments centre, have PVR software/hardware built in, connect to our flashy new high-def TVs, play movies in DTS etc. etc.

Has anyone got any more info on this as I've been holding off on buying a new Mac until this beauty was released, but I haven't seen anything for a while on all the usual Web Sites and am hoping Apple haven't gone cold on the idea...

that rumor has been going around for quite some time. i wouldn't hold your breath on it. go ahead and get that mac you always wanted.
 
Really? I don't need much encouragement - where's my cheque book; there's a Mac Pro with my name on it, I can just smell it!
