Apple leaving MacWorld?

According to CNet, Apple doesn't like MacWorld moving to Boston starting in 2004, and will not be participating in it. Also, they are re-evaluating if they will participate in MacWorld NY 2003 because of the move to Boston.

Apple said that they will still be at Macworld San Fransisco, but maybe not the New York one.

What is happening within Infinity Loop? I am not used to these sudden changes. I have always been overly comfortable with the fact that Apple is in some way a personal, traditional company. (I know, using traditional with the name Apple Computer is an oxymoron).

Well, I believe the fruit company has things planned out. Maybe Macworld organisers are charging them extra and Jobs is not happy. Or something like that. Things like these happen.

This is good news sort of. I live just south of Boston, and my dad used to take me every year since I was just a little kid. Then they left Boston, and I miss those times. Those were some of the times my dad and I actually spent time together. Now we can go back there again, even if Apple isn't there.
