Appletalk problems with dual nic

Hey all,

Curious if anyone else has experienced this or if someone can confirm.

My setup is such:

Single G4 with 2 NICs running NAT. en0 [onboard] NIC has external IP, en1 NIC is IP'd to 192.168.1.1

Single IMAC connected to en1, can access internet fine via NAT *and* can access appletalk share on G4 no problem.

Problem:

G4 cannot access appletalk share on iMac, is this a problem with NAT and/or Dual NICs? Anyone else have the same problem?

I have not been able to get dual NICs working at all. Can you point me to any resources that might offer help doing this?

do an:

ifconfig -a

and post the results

Unfortunately, it doesn't recognize the card at all.

Yea, mine is a kingston kne100tx

Was your card automagically recognized, or did you have some fussing and fighting to do? I noticed Kingston only offers driver for the kne100tx for up to OS 9 - unless I'm not looking in the right place.

I have the kne30bt, the driver offerings are the same - up to OS 9 only.

nope, worked automagically. the card is only 30.00 bucks, you ought to buy it!!
