Assigning networks a time of day

I currently have two networks in my house; one being created by the Apple Time Capsule and the other by the DIR-655. I find the DIR-655 to have better performance so I have my modem connected to it.

Is there a way to have airport automatically change networks at certain times of the day? I would like to have my macbook automatically connect to the time capsule in the evening so time machine can backup & then default back to the DIR-655 network for the morning.

Does 3rd party software exist that would allow me to do this?
Cheers

Why not just set up the AirPort to be a "range extender" (i.e., a "bridge") that is a member of the DIR-655's network, instead of a full wireless network itself?

I have looked into this but as far as I know in order for time machine to work correctly the the Time Capsule has to be broadcasting the wireless network; and then of course setting up the DIR-655 to extend the Time Capsule does not give me any advantage. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Mine works with this setup with no problem. I find it funny because i have the SAME darn setup. What a small world. ;)
