back up software

I have a 160 gb maxtor external hard drive that I use to back up both of my internal hardrives. I have been using Retrospect Express but am not pleased with it as it has become eradict ever since I installed Tiger. At times it will tell me there is insufficient space to back up the files then other times it will perform the backup; in addition the automatic scripting never works. Can anyone recommend an alternative software to do back up.
Thanks

If you're not opposed to having a "clone" instead of a true, compressed backup, you may want to check out Chronosync. You can set schedules and it has a lot of synchronization options... plus, you don't have to actually "restore" anything to access the backed-up files, as it simply synchronizes the files between two locations.

Carbon Copy Cloner is free, although I don't think you can "schedule" it for automatic backups. It also doesn't work with Intel based Macs. For my MacBook Pro, I use SuperDuper.

I downloaded SuperDuper! and am not sure which option does the full clone of my hard drive to copy all files and accounts.

What is the difference between backup all files and SandBox?

Thanks
