Backing Up iTunes Libary

I've just backed up my whole iTunes libary onto my brother's shared network drive on his PC.
If I were to do a clean install of OSX or wanted to move my libary to another mac when we get one will it be a case of just copying the libary back onto the hard drivr or into iTunes?

Yep.

Just make sure you grabbed everything inside the /Users/(username)/Music folder and you're good to go. I've done this several times.

If you ever decide to move the library to a user account with a different name, though, you may need to modify the permissions a bit on the folder, but that's a simple fix -- nothing to worry about.
