Blocking Websites

I'm trying to block a website on here but do not want to make separate user accounts and am fairly Mac-illiterate. Can you help me? I have no parental controls on the account because it's an Admin account but I also really need to black this website. I've read on here about redirecting IPs or something, but I really don't know what that means. I also don't really want to buy software... could someone maybe walk me through this whole thing? My Mac is OS X 10.4.11.

Apple has this tutorial on their website but it's more about allowing which sites users can view rather than blocking a certain site .... I thought I'd point you to it anyhow.

Here's another interesting thread ....

Well using OpenDNS and get the FREE account. Using that FREE account you can use your DNS to block individual web sites and whole web site categories. Using the service will use absolutely no nanny software on ANY computer system.
