Bluetooth file transfer

And what?

What happens next?

Don't leave us hanging here, man, I want to find out how it ends.

(also, knowing what type of phone might help too)

I'm a new convert to the wonderful world of Mac, first off, so I'm still figuring things out.
The phone is a Sony Ericsson Z520A and I'm trying to download a song that I'll use as a ringtone. I'm using the Bluetooth from System Preferences but can't figure out how to grab a file out of my documents folder to transfer.
Any ideas?
Thanks guys.

That is because your Ericsson needs the song in Mp3 only. Sony Ericsson can not play iTunes DRM'ed songs.

Also I get my ring tones from this site.

I have it stored as a MP3 file I just need to know how to transfer it fro the documents folde to the phone via bluetooth. I find nothing in the bluetooth that allows me to grab a file.

Do your Mac see your Ericsson and vice versa? You have to make both use
bluetooth, let others see it and let others transfer data?

On my Sony-Ericsson P990i, there are three selections for bluetooth:

1. Bluetooth is in use
2. Other devices can seek it
3. Power saving is in use

I set both 1 and 2 when transfering data between P990i and my Powerbook G4.
When I firsttime started the transfer, I have to send some passwords from
PB to P990i, and I guess each time they start the transfer, they use the
passwords.

Sending starts by turning the bluetooth on, selecting Send File, selecting
P990i (you have to name the bluetooth devices) and sending the file. The
file shows as a message.

After send, I turn bluetooth off from both devices.
