Bluray player app

I have a Buffalo optical drive on my M1 mini. Is there an app that can play Bluray discs?
The drive mounts the bluray disc, but I don't have a player app. DVD Player doesn't play Bluray. It works fine with DVDs and the DVD player.

There are several in the app store. Some are for a price and some have in app purchases (not sure what that's for). I'm not sure what exactly you are looking for, so please check it out.

It's still out there. They give you a free version that doesn't play well. You have to pay them to get a good playback.

Try MakeMKV + VLC — MakeMKV can decrypt/stream a Blu‑ray to VLC so you don’t have to rip the whole disc, and that’s what I use when a free player chokes on a commercial release. It runs under Rosetta on my M1 machine and the Buffalo drive worked fine when plugged directly (avoid cheap unpowered hubs or give the drive its own power), and also check the drive region if you get errors. Free players like Leawo/VLC will play unprotected discs, and there are paid “Blu‑ray Player” apps, but many of them don’t handle AACS/BD+ reliably and disc menus are usually hit‑or‑miss on macOS.
