booting emac from a cd

Step one would be to download an .iso for your chosen flavor of linux - one that is made to install on a PPC.
Step two would be to burn that .iso or disk image file to create the installer CD.
Step three - insert the linux install CD that you burned, in the eMac drive, and restart while holding the letter C.
