My card is not working, is there any way to troubleshoot it? I can still connect through the airport.

The only thing you could try right now is zap the PRAM. Then when the system boots up go to the finder and select the Blue Apple (in the left hand corner). Once the window pops up select 'More Info'. This will launch the System Profiler and once that is launch select 'Network' in the left hand column. This should show if the system is seeing the ethernet card.

If the ethernet card does show up then you will have to go to System Preferences, Network preference pane and select built Ethernet and make sure DHCP is selected. Plus check to make sure you don't have bad ethernet cable.
