Burning an audio disc....

Hey I wish to burn an audio disc that will be read by my Xbox.

In my PC Days I had to use an external software to do so.

I used my macs standard burning to burn an audio CD. No folders, no other items, and the XBox still wont accept it as an audio disc.

What do I have to do? Clearly the CD has been burned as a standard Data disc.

Thanks

You can't create an Audio CD using a Finder burn. Copying the sound files to a disk image and burning the result leaves you with a data CD with some music files. This result will not play in a CD player. You must use a burn process that creates an Audio CD. One good way to do this is to use iTunes to burn your CD, works like a charm, and iTunes is designed for this. If you have Toast, audio CD burning is a natural option

Totally not true. I had an XBox when it came out (so maybe its changed...i dont do video games anymore really), and that thing played anything i threw in it. Use quality CD-Rs. Or even try those expensive music CD-Rs with the shattered wine glass on the CD and the music notes...might work. I dont know about the new Xboxes.
