Hi macusers,
I downloaded Yellow Dog Linux and want to try it out :) my problem is, i am too stupid to create a bootable ISO-Image :-(

first I mount with Disk Copy the ISO Image, then i select burn????? i produced 12 garbage cds :(

can anyone give me a step to step howto, how to do that?

i am noob

thank you very much

Hey dau,

It's really simple.

You download the YDL (or whatever) ISO CD images.

Don't do anything with the files once you download them, thay are ISOs already.

Go Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Copy -> File -> Burn Image.

Select the ISO file, insert a CD-R when asked, and burn it. That simple. I would suggest not putting in a CD-R disc before that, the Finder will try to make it look like a regular volume, and we don't want to do that :p

(By the way, my system is French, I think the program is called Disk Copy, but it might be like Disk Imaging or something else. . .)
