can anyone help me with malfunctioning WEB PAGE COMMANDS?

on web pages with text boxes, my mac usually won't respond to pushing the "post text", "send", etc. button

does anyone know how to fix this?

its a 10.2.8 by the way
 
Is JavaScript disabled in the browser you're using?

As a side note, Java and JavaScript are two completely different languages, even though they share a common 4-letter word. Make sure you have JavaScript enabled, as there are options for both Java and JavaScript.
 
You are using an outdated OS X. The Java has been updated (Java has always sucked on a Mac) to 5.0 on a PPC Mac. Most web sites want at least Mac Java 1.4.2. On the Mac one has to go to the folder /Applications/Utilities/Java/ and find the application to see what Java you have.
