Can not send mail

It is that simple . . .
I can no longer send mail, it says:
The attempt to read data from the server “classyacres.com” failed.

still gets mail just fine.

mail 1.3.11 is the one I have.

Sounds like you have a problem with your Outgoing settings. Check that everything there is correct, then try again.

looking at those I do not see anything a stray.

I am think my isp may have decided to limit who goes out through them.

I tried my usFamily email server and that worked. . .

Sometimes ISPs block all outgoing mail except for mail originating from their own domain in order to cut down on people using their services for spamming -- for example, I have SBC Yahoo! DSL, and I can only send mail from my @sbcglobal.net account through their servers.

Sometimes ISPs block all outgoing mail except for mail originating from their own domain in order to cut down on people using their services for spamming -- for example, I have SBC Yahoo! DSL, and I can only send mail from my @sbcglobal.net account through their servers.

I have the same thing with my ISP blocking the default port 25 SMTP port. I then found out I was able to send through .Mac using SMTP port 587. Some more modern SMTP servers can use this port so you might want to check with the SMTP service that this could be done.
