Can you share an external HD in Leopard?

I think I have done everything correctly to share a HD from one machine wirelessly, but it isn't visible on the other machines.

I am running OSX 10.5.2 on 2 x 2.16Ghz iMac 24"s, amongst others.

I selected the external HD in the File Sharing Control panel and set it to read/write for everyone.

When you turn on file sharing make sure you go back to the Sharing System Preference pane and then in File sharing click on the Options button. Make sure you turn on the options for all kinds of sharing.

Geez, and it was so simple in OS7 to OS9.

Select drive, get info, share.

Glad those days are over!
