Cannot get photos off TimeCapsule

Please help! I backed up all of my pics on to my TimeCapsule and now I cannot figure how to get them reloaded into iPhoto on my harddrive. The latest thing I tried was to copy the sparsebundle off the TC on to my HD desktop but I still cannot figure out how to extract my pictures. Help!
 
What process did you use to back up your photos to the Time Capsule?
Did you use Time Machine? or another backup solution?
