ok my iMac G5 has develped a weird problem. It stopped printing! I have a HP Laserjet 4 Plus on a wireless router and had it setup with IP printing. My G5 is on a Airport to my wireless router. Worked great for over a year, then it stopped. I would get an error (error while printing?) when I tried to print. Then I discovered that when I try to run Disk Warrior or other tools to check my system it asks for user name and password, then when I type it in I get an error! But my password is fine when I log in. I ended up reading about enabling the root account so I did that and logged in with it (I set a password don't worry) and guess what I added the printer and it works! But any other account it does not work. I tried the print repair tool (cannot remember the name, it is shareware) Nothing did the trick. Any ideas?
