Can't Find Locked Folder

Hello:

Yesterday, I locked a folder. Now, I cannot even find the folder in my computer.

Using OSX.3.8

How did you get to the folder in the first place? Is the folder not appearing in the place where it should, or have you just forgot where it was?

How did you "lock" the folder?
