can't open a web page

Hello
I have a macbook air. I can get into most wb pages but from my computer I can't not get into my 'campus virtual', although I can get there from other computers in the same library, can you tell me why can't I get there?

Please elaborate greatly on your setup -- as of now, we know not what version of OS X you're using, what browser you're using, what your internet connection is (wired, wireless, DSL, Cable, T1, OC-3, etc.), if you're behind a firewall, router, and/or proxy, etc.

Does the web page require you to use Internet Explorer? Are there any ActiveX controls on the web page? What are the system requirements as defined by the university (I'm guessing -- "campus" virtual) for accessing the web page? Have you ever been able to view the web page on your MacBook Air?

When you say you can "get into most wb (sic) pages", that indicates that other web pages don't work for you, either -- what are those other web pages, and do they bear any similarity to your "campus virtual" page -- ActiveX? Java? Internet Explorer required?
