Can't reinstall Jaguar

I recently got it in my head that I could install Debian onto my older mac ibook dual usb. So I installed debian but decided that I wanted to go back to Jaguar as it was a better system for my needs.
So I pulled out my Jaguar cds and can't seem to get it to install again.
I have open firmware version 4.2.0f4 and it just wont boot from cdrom when I have the disks in. The laptop I believe only has a cdrom I havent played with it in a while so I am not positive.

Is my cd bad? Is my openfirmware messed up after installing debian? Whats going on?

What happens when you try to install Jaguar? Does your iBook fail to boot at all? Or, do you get an error message during the install process (like - this software cannot be installed on this system - (or something similar to that))

Are you using a commercial installer set (black disks), or a grey set that came with another Mac?
