Can't stop MySQL

Every time i stop MySQL from the pref pane it restarts after 30 sec. I don't have a clue why. Anybody who can help me how to find why?
 
Not sure about finding out why, but there's a great app out there (besides the terminal) that will help you control MySQL's on or off state: XAMPP. It's free and works great.
 
It's a Preferences pane? Sorry I didn't know that. There is no settings for it not to restart the service?
