Change the default app when viewing source in Safari

I was wondering if there's anyway to change the default app so when I view the source of a webpage in Safari, it will show the code using BBEdit?

Viewing source does not open any app, just a Safari window, so changing the 'default' seems unlikely. But you can always copy and paste text into a bbedit window.
There may be a way through editing of the Safari .plist by adding a key of some kind that calls an app when viewing source. Without knowing something about the code in Safari, unknown.

Safari does not use a helper application for viewing web page source so other than saving the page and opening it in BBEdit, I think you are out of luck. But if you want to change any of the protocol helper applications there is a nice utility from the developers of iCab called MisFox that will allow you to change file mappings as well as protocol helper applications. Not only does it work easily and intuitively, it is free.
