Chrome doesn't like my architecture

I'm trying to install Chrome for 10.5.8. With some great help from some of our members, I learned how to get rid of preview on my desktop so my .pdf icons appear unique and not like very other file on my d.t.

Could this be what Chrome install is referring to when it doesn't like my architecture? Or is it the motorola processor?

No. Chrome is Intel only. Your PPC Mac won't work with an Intel-only app.

I think there was a version of Chrome for PPC, but I can't find one now.

Better to go with one of the Mozilla versions that are still being updated for PPC Macs.

Thanks DeltaMac, you are on top of this stuff. I got on to chrome from a search for best mac browsers. Go figure. Going to post a question on firefox, which looks like a late 80s browser on my mac. But I thought I'd throw it out to the general population. Your help has been right on the money computer age fast, but I don't want to monopolize your time.
