Cisco VPN Client alternative?

I up graded to Snow and now have problems with cisco client connection (never connects). I have tried Shimo but I get errors when trying to connect.

Any ideas or alternatives for a VPN connect to my University?

The way I solved the problem was to use Leopard's built in VPN, then contacted the University for the settings, especially the "Secret Word". It now connects. FYI: the information the university gave was for iPhones to connect via VPN. I made a small modification to make it work with the built in VPN in Leopard/
