Classic Resource Errors! Help!

I wanted to install Diablo II again because....yeah. So anyways I put my CD in, double clicked the installer, Classic asked me to start. I said yes. It says its missing resources and wont start or load period. Whats wrong? I havent started classic in awhile!
 
Nope. Just Mac OS X 10.2.8. No OS 9.

Diablo, youre always helping me out when no one else is!!! lol

But yeah. Speaking of Diablo....I wanna get it workin. I believe the exact message is: RESOURCE UPDATE ERROR
An error was encountered while attempting to update your system folder with Classic-Specific Resources.
 
UPDATE:

I took my powerbook to my local apple store to the genius bar and he tried copying the classic support files from his ibook to mine to fix it. Didnt work. So he said use the restore disc and install classic again. I just did it and I still get the resource error update. GAH! HELP!?
 
Guys!!! Cmon help me! The two geniuses at the Genius Bar at my Apple store cant fix it. No one on other forums knows howto fix it. People other than me have had this problem. I refuse to reinstall jaguar....PLEASE HELP!!?

I just had a trying encounter with my Mac too. I just got a new one, and I installed panther... but then it wouldnt let install OS 9.0 - get this - becuase I didnt have OS 9 already installed....

I spent three days trying to update softare - no luck - still couldnt get 9 on there... finally today, I had a brainchild. I linked up the old and new macs via Ethernet. From the OS 9 system, I connected to the Panther and dropped my existing OS 9 system onto the new Mac. And this worked! Couldnt believe it!

Been productive for the rest of the day!

Blizzard actually now has a D2 OS X installer so now im playing D2 fine! But i have no classic!
