so whats the beest way to go about cleaning a mac laptop.

whats the best and safest way to get your laptop nice and shiny, same goes with the screen.

are there any tutorials online that show you a good thurough (sp?), step by step cleaning procedure for the keys.

It depends on the plastics MacBooks and metal MacBook Pros. Cleaning the screen should never be done with tradition consumer windows cleaning spays. I use the Radtech's OmniCleanz and heard good things about iKlear too. These are for cleaning the screen.

You mean you shouldn't just toss em into the dishwasher??

You usually pretty safe with anything not containing bleach, or amonia. I use Apple Polishing wipes. They come with a polishing wipe, and a buffing wipe.

You'd be surprised at how well this trick brings old Macintosh logic boards back to life!
