greetings

i have a working mac os 9.1 motorola starmax clone.
in the past when it refused to power up i would change the small memory battery cube and its back to working. but with the recent new battery it will powerup but asks me to reset the clock every time. suggestions?
 
Did you test the battery?
A 'new' battery does not necessarily mean a 'good' battery...
Test with a DVM (digital voltmeter or multimeter) for at least 3.5 VDC.
