Color in list view

When I have the finder in icon view I have the options to change the color of the background behind the icons in the VIEW--> SHOW VIEW OPTIONS, but if I want to change the color of the background in a finder window that is in list view I no longer have the option to do so under VIEW--> SHOW VEIW OPTIONS is this possible to do in list mode? Thanks in advance for any help!

Nope, it's only possible to change the color of the background or add a picture as a background in icon view.

You could try Cocoatech's Path Finder...
