Hi there, just want to know what is currently the best program out there for dvd compression. That have already been ripped by MTR but are too large to burn onto and single layer dvd disk... I have done a bit of research and i have kinda narrowed it down to DVD2one, Popcorn2, Fast DVD copy 2 and DVD remaster... I am currently using Toast 7 for copying my cd's but i am kinda hoping that someone who has used these programs b4 would be able to advise me of which one i should use.. Know considering i am an amateur at this whole thing i would appreciate Genuine Response and not to be told to search google!!!..

Many thanks to all that actually help...

DVD2One IMHO is the best one. I used several times with family DVDs I have made that were just a little to big. It worked great.

Toast 7 has incorporated Popcorn into its features. So, if you already have Toast 7, you are set to go. It will compress for you.

Then again, he already _has_ Toast 7. If you've ripped the DVDs with MTR, you simply drop them on Toast and let it compress the movies for a single layer DVD. It just works.

I find FastDVDCopy the best solution myself, though. (For not-already-ripped DVDs, that is.) Simple, fast, good.
