Connect Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO USB adpt

I recently bought a Mac Pro. Unfortunately it came without an Airport card. I purchased a Belkin Wireless G+ MIMO USB Adapter. Is there a way to make my Mac Pro connect to WiFi with it? When I connect the adapter, nothing happens.

Did the Mac detect the USB device? what happens when you open System Utilities->Network and see if the "Airport" side Tab is there because it would let you configure it there.

Once you plug in the USB device, open the top left corner Blue Apple and select "About This Mac". Once the pop up comes up click"More info...". Once System Profiler comes up select USB (in the side panel). Does it see the USB device?
