Controling Mac Via PC?

Not through HTTP, but through TCP/IP with VNC software. A simple search on versiontracker.com (for both Mac and PC) for "VNC" will get you what you need.

Short and skinny: you need a VNC server running on the Mac, and a VNC client on the PC. Just install whatever programs suit your fancy that meet those requirements and away you go.

Uhhh... yes, it DOES need a server. Timbuktu is simply a client and a server all in one software package -- it's not like you could use Timbuktu to connect to a computer that didn't have the Timbuktu software package (or some sort of VNC/remote control software) installed on it... when you install Timbuktu, you're most definitely installing a server software package.

Besides, Timbuktu is commercial software. You can do this for free with VNC.

Then it's probably not possible. You need to be able to at least run a VNC client program from the PC to get connected to the Mac. You may not have to install the VNC software, but you will need to be able to at least run it, like from a flash drive or something.

Without ability to install software, you are basically dead in the water at the PC. Satcomer's how-to should do the trick, and like El Diablo said, you could at least get external media like a flash drive or something to run the applications on the PC.
