Conversion of Pst to Mbox

I need to be able to import my emails from outlook 2007 which stores its files in pst format to apple mail which have mbox file format.
How can I convert it to a mbox file?

I am using mac book pro with OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Follow the steps in the blog post Import Email From Outlook to Apple Mail.app Using Thunderbird. Then from Thunderbird export them to Mai (using the Import method).

To convert a PST file into MBOX format, you should try some third-party converters which support such conversion. I have read about a third-party software that supports conversion of PST into MBOX format. It is SysInfoTools PST File Repair software, that only repairs corrupt .pst files but also convert them into different formats like: EML, DBX, MSG, PST, MBOX and archive (EML, ICS, VCF and text) format. You must try this software or you can check its free demo version.
