Copying/Burning the iPhotos Folder

My wife is retiring her ancient iMac and asked me to copy the photos stored in her machine's iPhotos. I copied the iPhotos folder from the Pictures folder to an external drive, then used my version of Toast to burn it to a DVD.

Did this get all the images or do I need to open the iPhotos library on her computer and copy the images manually?

If she hasn't specifically stored another iPhoto library somewhere, then that's it.

Best thing to do would be to give it a "smell test" -- open iPhoto while holding down the option key (or 'alt' key), then instruct iPhoto to use the iPhoto library you backed up. Check and see if the pictures look the same and whether or not it "got" all of them.
