Could someone compile a Universal Binary for me?

Hi everybody, this is my first post here. I used this fantastic app called Noise on my school's lab macs when writing papers to help me concentrate (it generates a pink noise sound to block out distractions).
I finally bought my own computer, a macbook, and the app won't work on it. I'm guessing it's an Intel code issue. The app is freeware and available on versiontracker, and the download comes with the source code. I was wondering if it would be easy enough for someone to compile a universal binary of the app so I could continue to work free of distractions.

here is the link:

thanks!

What exactly happens when you say "the app won't work on it" -- does it just quit? Does it give you an error message? Does it complain that it can't run on your MacBook? Please elaborate.

PowerPC-only applications should run just fine on Intel-based Mac computers under Rosetta. There are a few exceptions, and I'm not saying that it's not a PowerPC vs. Intel problem, but there are a few other things to try before having someone take the time out to recompile a program.

The app window has just one button, and on a PowerPC, when it is clicked the pink noise begins. On my intel machine, the app opens normally, but clicking on the button does nothing.
I also use ambrosia's wiretap pro and I know it is not compatible with intel systems either. I wonder if it is a common audio issue...

The PowerPC version did work on my MBP. Do you have any audio hardware connected that could cause the problem?

Here's the universal binary, anyway : )

The PPC version wouldn't work on my MacBook (not pro). MacOSX.com won't let me access your attachment, it keeps asking me to log in despite my already being logged in. Thank you for doing this though!! Hopefully I can make it download somehow
