When you hit the "apple menu" I have duplicates of the following items: restart, shutdown, logout and force quit ( one for application) One of each has dots after the words: restart and shut down. With the other 2 there is a funny character that looks like a staircase. Also, I now have a "black box" which surrounds icons on the desktop and also when you open folders. I also now have an American flag at the top of the screen and a funny voice talking all the time. How do I get it back to normal?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Bruce

System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing > Turn VoiceOver off. (to get rid of duplicate Apple Menu items and the "voice narration")
