Boot with your Leopard install disk and reset your password with it. This should fix the problem. This problem is common when you do just an Upgrade install. Some have the problem (PowerPC users) and some don't (Intel users).

I have same problem on both my Intel & PowerPC.
Followed your advise on reseting password with Leopard Install disk, but that didn't make it go away?
Also, when opening the "Disk Utility", under the Hardrive/CD Reader window, there is a line and below it are two Alias' (seemingly Alias, I say seemingly because if you drag them off, the 'poof' away), anyone know why these are there.
Both this issues seem suspicious, to the suspicious at heart... wish I could get them to go away!
