THIS QUESTION IS NOT FOR ANY ELEGAL PURPOSE!!!

I have a friend who works in a very large computer company selling and buing computers. 99% PC's from other Companies. Now they received a Mac and they dont work with Mac at all

They dont have the login details for this Mac and they dont care to check it then. Maybe I can get a very good offer to buy it, but how will I do with the password?

Can I change the harddisk?

Sorry again to admins/macosx if I put a sensetive question :(

Or you _could_ just replace the harddrive or just reinstall Mac OS X (and swipe the harddrive while at it) - unless there's a firmware password, of course, that disables booting, period.

If the password is set in Firmware, and you don't know it, the computer is useless.
