Double Ipod Partition

Hey guys,
I want to try and partition my Ipod for mostly use with mac but so it can be partially formatted for windows use, as i need to save my college work on my ipod this would be infinitly helpful.
If anyone can give me any idea if this can be done and instructions or links to instructions i would be very pleased of the help!

Simply format the iPod on any Windows machine with the iPod Software Updater, and you should be able to use it on both Windows and Mac.
