downloading a file from command line

Hi everyone,

I connect to a computer through ssh, but I want to download a file
through the commandline on that computer, found in an ftp website:

http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/coreutils/

how to I do this?

Ah sorry, I posted it in the wrong forum, and then I couldn't find it within that forum. So I posted it in this one.

curl -0 (pathtofile) > (outputfilename)

...where (pathtofile) is the path to the file you want to download including the URL, and (outputfilename) is the name of the file you want to save the file to.
