dreamweaver cs4 connecting to access

I am taking an evening course on web design. I am learning with asp to connect to an access data base. The computers are all Pc and all works fine. When I try to do the same on my mac it wont work. Is is just not possible or is there a work around?

It's just not possible for two reasons: ASP and Access.

Access has never (nor will it ever) be supported on Mac OS X, unfortunately.

ASP is a Microsoft technology as well, and has extremely limited support on Mac OS X.

Your best bet would be to secure some time on a Windows box to complete the assignment, or perhaps run Windows in a virtualized environment (VirtualBox, Parallels, Fusion) or via BootCamp.
