drives are missing

I Can T See My Cd Rom Drive Or The 2nd Hard Drive On My G4 Mac
ihave two separte hard drives (one for osx and the other for storage
)for some reason these two drives have disappeared from my system
i am currently using 10.2.8

SUPAFLY- OPEN DISK UTILITY AND SEE WHAT IT TELLS YOU ABOUT DRIVES
MAYBE USE VERIFY DISK?
