DVD burning problem

When trying to burn a DVD from a TS or img file with Popcorn or Toast. I get this message:The drive reported an error,sense code OXSC, write error

I tried using different media, different software with no change.
Im using a (Dual 2.7 GHz PowerPC G5 / Memory 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM

I've burnt many movies, but now Im getting this problem and it won't Write Lead In. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

First try to reset your Pram letting the "bong" happen twice. This might help.

If it doesn't help try to running a CD/DVD cleaning disk, the lasers might be dirty.

Then if none of these help, replace the drive because yours went south.
