dvd player delayed audio

I went to watch Christmas Vacation last night on my iMac. (Panther, 17" 800mhz) last night with my new iSub. I had existing pro speakers
The audio track was slightly off and it was like watching Clark Griswold with bad dubbing. I restarted with the iSub, restarted without the iSub, etc. etc but still the same effect.

I then tested the DVD on my work pute (dual 1.25 G4 Jaguar) and it seems to play fine.

Any ideas?
Cheers

i have just tested the dvd again, but now the audio is ahead of the video?????
I tried other DVDs and they seem OK

Yup. A very good player if I may add. Allows you to play back VCD, DVD and lot more...
Give it a try and post your results. Good luck!

Try to Repair Permissions (Applications->Utilities->Disk Utility). If that doesn't work then try Pacifist. You can get the DVD player file from your 10.3 install disk.
