DVDPlayer v3.0 and Subtitles

I'm using a PowerBook 550, and whenever I use subtitles while playing any DVD, the text is far to the right and clipped. Is anyone else having this problem or now how to fix this? Thanks.
 
And I thought it was just the DVD I was playing. Didn't check with any of my others though, and since you are seeing the problem as well, I guess it is more widespread. Don't know how/if it can be fixed, though.
