Emac, no modem, questions, need advice.

I'm considering buying an education market eMac (the one without a 56k modem).

I was wondering if there was any way to fax via ethernet? I have a DSL connection and was wondering if somehow I can use the ethernet connection through it.?

What are my options here? By the way I hate external devices.

Faxes are sent through phone modems, (How would you send a fax without a phone number to receive that fax?) Someone may know if there is any software that can send through DSL, But I've not heard of it. Option 1: Send a "fax" by adding it as an attachment to an email. That would not let you recieve faxes, except through the same email system (but then it's not a 'fax') Best, most reliable way to send and receive faxes? external fax machine!
