hi,

i have lost my passwords for itunes, ichat and email (which i wrote down) and i havent a clue where to find them on my imac in ilife....mixed with this i aparentley havent registered my email address with apple...im in a complete mess!how can i start to rectify the situation and get everything running smoothly?i want to use my system to the best of its ability and i havent a clue!arrrgh!

Lost passwords are lost passwords -- if you could get around password protection when you lost your password, what good is password protection in the first place?

Have you checked your keychain? You can view your passwords, provided you used the keychain to store them, with the "Keychain Access" application in your /Applications/Utilities folder.
