Energy Saver Options Missing

I just got a new Powerbook today (a replacement for a Powerbook that malfunctioned) and when I went to change the settings for processor performance under Energy Saver, to my suprise they were no longer there.

Any clues on what might have happened?

Isn't that it right there beside "Optimization?"

What version of OS X did you have on the old machine? If it was 10.3.x (Panther) or older, it seems you now have 10.4.x (Tiger), and the organization and verbage of certain preference panes has changed between the versions.
