erminal Problem (Terminal - login - 80x24)

Whenever i open Terminal, Terminal - login - 80x24 pops up on the title bar ad everything is completely blank. I could type and everything but nothing happens.

Before seeing this, i actually tried to edit something from it, and then it just managed to be like that, how could i get it back and fix this?! Help pls! Questions are highly appreciated upon this problem.

I'm a new Mac user so yeah.. and i don't recommend the reinstalling terminal option please.
 
Create a new user account (or better yet, try the guest user) and try Terminal.App with it. If it works, (i.e. you can give commands that show something), there is some problem in the .bashrc, like a command that does nothing, like bash's read.
 
It could be that the "shell" (i.e., "/bin/bash" or similar) has been removed from Terminal's preferences.

Visit the preferences of the Terminal and ensure a valid shell path is present.
