I am trying to install a LaCie d2 DVD+ RW Drive on a Mac OS X 10.3.9.

I then titled the disk and inserted it into the burner. Next I received the following message: "The disc could not be used because the disc drive is not supported. (Error code Ox80020025)

Can anyone tell me what I need to do in this case?

Older versions of Mac OS X did not have wide-ranging support for many CD/DVD drives. This may be your problem. After using Patchburn, open up the System Profiler application and check to see that your burner is "supported".
